Life with Puravo Stick

Every room on one charge. Not half the house, then a wait for the battery. Then the car.

Grab it off the wall, do the whole place, hang it back up. Here is what changes in the first week.

A woman in a bright hallway resting a hand on Puravo Stick as it stands on its own, stairs behind her
You actually vacuum moreYou carry it upstairs one-handed, it hangs by the door, and there is no cord to fight. A five-minute job gets done instead of put off. Company can come by on short notice.
No more scissors on a SundayThe V-shaped brush roll has comb teeth that push hair off the brush and into the dust cup as it spins. Long hair, dog hair, all of it. It does not wrap.
You see what you were missingThe green LED strip on the floor head lights up the dust and fine hair along the baseboard. A normal vacuum misses it. You will see dirt you did not know was there.
You empty it once a week, not every roomA 1.5-liter dust cup, nearly three times a Dyson V8's. Press one button over the trash and the bottom drops open. Your hands never touch the dust.

Drag the handle. Left is a normal vacuum brush roll after a week in a house with a dog. Right is the Puravo Stick brush roll after the same week.

Puravo StickNothing on the brush roll. The hair went where it belongs: in the cup, out with the trash.
Suction

55 kPa of suction. Grit out of the rug, crumbs off the hardwood, the dog-hair tumbleweeds out of the corner.

The Puravo Stick floor head on a rug pulling up crumbs with its green light on

55 kPa on Max is a big number, and big numbers on a box mean little. What it means on your floor: the crumbs under the high chair come up on the first pass. So do the grit in the rug and the sand from the car mats. Not on the third pass. Mid handles the rugs. Eco does the hardwood and most of the house. Save Max for short bursts on the hairy spots.

Three modes, one button on the body, and the screen tells you which one you are in. Press it once and it stays on. There is no trigger to hold for the whole house.

Runtime, and it stands up

Up to an hour. And it stands on its own.

Puravo Stick standing upright on its own in a bright hallway beside its wall dock with the tools hanging on it

The battery runs up to an hour on Eco. That is a three-bedroom house with a hallway, stairs and the car before the battery light flashes. Then it charges on the wall dock in about four hours, with both tools hanging beside it. Hang it up after each run and it is always full when you reach for it. No hunting for parts.

Stop halfway to answer the door and it stands where you leave it, balanced on its own head. No leaning it on a wall, and no drilling if you do not want to. The dock is there when you want it.

Anti-tangle brush roll

Hair goes in the dust cup, not around the brush.

Close-up of the Puravo Stick V-shaped anti-tangle brush roll, clean, with hair in the dust cup above

The brush roll is V-shaped with comb teeth built into the head. As it spins, the V pushes hair to the center and the teeth strip it off and the suction takes it. Long hair, dog hair, cat hair, the thread off a rug. It ends up in the trash.

No scissors, no flipping it over on the kitchen floor on a Sunday. You never have to clean the brush.

You will see what your old vacuum left behind.

Puravo Stick sweeping a dark hallway floor with its green LED strip lighting the dust ahead

Five green LEDs across the front of the head light the floor at a low angle. That low angle is what makes fine dust and pale pet hair show up on hardwood or along a baseboard. The first time you use it in a hallway you thought was clean, you will be a little grossed out and weirdly satisfied. It shows you dirt you did not know was there.

The dust bunnies under the bed, the fur under the couch, the line along the baseboard: the light finds it and the vacuum picks it up.

A 1.5-liter dust cup

One empty per run. And you never touch the dust.

Puravo Stick held over a kitchen trash can with its large clear dust cup flipped open

Hold it over the trash, press the button, the bottom drops open and the dust falls out. Your hands never go near it. The dust cup holds 1.5 liters, nearly three times a Dyson V8's. A whole-house run in a two-pet home is one empty, not three. Six stages of filtration and a HEPA filter keep 99.99% of the fine dust in the vacuum. None of it blows back into the room.

The HEPA filter rinses under the faucet. A second one is in the box, so the spare goes in while the wet one dries. There are no filters to keep buying.

Pull the wand off and the body is a handheld with the same suction. The crevice tool reaches down the side of the car seat and flips to a brush for the dash. The wide sofa nozzle does the cushions, the mattress and the dog bed. Both tools hang on the dock so they are there when you need them.

Every tool, the charging dock and a spare filter are in the box. The screen shows battery, mode and any alert.

How it works

The CleanPath™ system: from the floor to the dust cup without a snag.

A cordless vacuum comes down to three things. How hard it pulls. Whether the hair gets past the brush. How much you have to fuss with it. Here is how Puravo Stick handles each one.

01
Pull it up

55 kPa of suction at the head, enough to lift grit out of a rug. The spinning brush roll does the lifting on carpet and sweeps hardwood, with the green light showing you where.

02
Strip the hair

The V-shaped brush roll drives hair to the center where comb teeth strip it off and the suction takes it. It lands in the dust cup as loose hair, not a rope around the brush.

03
Keep the dust in, no fuss

Six filter stages hold 99.99% of fine dust in the machine. A 1.5-liter dust cup means one empty per run. The battery does the whole house on one charge. The whole thing stands up on its own wherever you stop.

Covered for five years, with 60 days to try it in your own home.

What to expect

From the first hallway to a vacuum you actually use

What the first month looks like in a typical home with pets and a mix of floors.

First runThe light shows what you missed

The hallway you thought was clean lights up with fine dust and pale hair. Weirdly satisfying, a little gross. Then it is gone.

Day 3The brush roll is still clean

You flip it over out of habit. Nothing wrapped. The hair is in the trash where it belongs.

Week 1The whole house on one charge

Every room, the stairs, the couch and the car, and the battery is not flashing. It goes back on the wall.

Month 1The corded one goes to the garage

You vacuum more because it takes five minutes and the vacuum is by the door. The big one has not been out since.

The question everyone asks

Is 60 minutes real, or another number from a lab?

You have read the reviews: "60 minutes" that turns out to be 20 with the head on. Here is the straight answer.

60 is Eco, with the head on

Up to 60 minutes is on Eco, the quiet mode, with the floor head attached. That is how most of a house gets done. Mid gives you about 35 minutes, enough for every rug in the house. Max is about 20 minutes and it is for the bad spots, not the whole house.

One charge still does the house

A three-bedroom home with stairs and a hallway is 25 to 40 minutes of vacuuming. The point is that it never runs flat before you finish. The number on the box does not matter.

And you are not fighting it

It stands up on its own when you stop, the dust cup holds a whole house, and the dock charges it with the tools hanging beside it. The things that made you give up on the last cordless are gone.

Still not sure?Use it as your only vacuum for 60 days. If it does not do your whole home on one charge, send it back for a full refund.

A repair shop's view

A vacuum repair technician explains why Puravo Stick works

Twenty years fixing cordless vacuums other people gave up on. This is the one he tells his customers to buy, so they do not have to come back.

Two things come through my door every week: a brush roll wrapped solid with hair, and a cordless with a dead battery sealed inside it. The customer has to choose between a repair that costs half the price of the vacuum and a new vacuum. Puravo Stick stops the first problem from happening and makes the second one rare. The V-shaped brush roll actually strips hair. I tested it with a bag of my own dog's. And a 1.5-liter dust cup with a big washable HEPA filter means the motor never runs choked. That is why I tell people to buy it.

What it really costs

What a vacuum you actually use really costs

Same goal: a clean house without a fight. Three very different bills.

Option 1The $400 to $500 name brand$450, then again at year 3

Great on day one. Then the hair wraps the brush roll and the little dust cup fills twice a run. The battery dies right after the two-year warranty, and a new one is over $100.

Option 2The $90 stick, twice a year$90 every six months

Twenty minutes on a good day, a brush roll that wraps on the first pass, no spare parts and nobody to call.

Option 3Puravo Stick$229.00 today

Every room on one charge, and suction that gets the grit out of the rug. A brush roll that does not wrap and a 1.5-liter dust cup. A stick that stands on its own with every tool in the box. A 5-year warranty and 60 days to try it at home. Ships free and fast from our US warehouse.

Stairs

Light enough to carry up one handed and do each step with the short end. The green light on the front shows crumbs along the edge of the carpet I'd been walking past for years. Wife noticed the stairs before I said anything.

Retriever house

Hardwood downstairs, rugs up, one dog who sheds like it's her job. Did the whole house on one charge with battery to spare and I have flipped the head over ten times looking for hair. Nothing on it. My old one got the scissors every Sunday. Still a little suspicious honestly.

Good, heavier than I expected

Pulls harder than the big name I paid double for and the cup holds a whole run of my two-story house. Three long-haired daughters and not one thread on the brush roll. It is a bit heavy held up high for the ceiling fan, so the corded one keeps that job. Dock took ten minutes. Four stars for the weight.

Toddler

Lives on the wall by the kitchen. I grab it three times a day. Under the high chair is thirty seconds. Dumping it over the trash without touching anything is the best part of my week right now.

Small place, one cat

Didn't need a big vacuum, needed one I'd use. Couch with the little brush, floors on the low setting, charges on the shelf by the door. Quieter than my roommate's.

Bought it for the truck

Wanted something for the truck and figured I'd get a real vacuum for the same money. Skinny tool gets down the side of the seats. Then I did the house on the same charge. Upright's been in the garage since May.

Out of the box

On the wall in ten minutes

Two screws for the mount, a click for the wand, a charge, and it is your vacuum.

STEP 1Charge the battery

Hang it on the dock or plug the cable into the body. About four hours from empty. The screen shows the level.

STEP 2Click it together

Wand into the body, floor head onto the wand. The crevice tool and the sofa nozzle hang on the dock so they are always right there.

STEP 3Mount the dock by the door

Two screws, and the dock charges the stick and holds both tools. Or skip the drill: it stands on its own in the corner. A vacuum you can see is a vacuum you use.

What's in the box

Every tool in the box. Nothing to buy after.

Is it right for you?

Is Puravo Stick the obvious choice for you?

For people who want the whole house done in one go, and are done with vacuums whose battery dies right after the warranty.

Puravo Stick is built for you if

  • You want the whole house on one charge, then the car
  • You have a mix of hardwood, tile and rugs, and stairs
  • You have long hair, a dog or a cat, and you are done cutting hair off the brush roll
  • You want a dust cup you empty once a run and a stick that stands where you leave it

Choose something else if

  • Your whole home is thick, deep-pile shag: a corded upright still wins there
  • You want a robot to do it while you are out
  • You need a wet-and-dry or a car-shop vacuum
  • You want an app: this one has a screen and buttons, on purpose

If the first list sounds like your home, this is the vacuum. And you have 60 days to try it at home.

Common questions

Still deciding if Puravo Stick fits your home?

Does 60 minutes mean 60 minutes?
On Eco with the floor head on, yes, up to 60. Mid is about 35, every rug in the house. Max is about 20, a few bad spots. A typical three-bedroom home takes 25 to 40 minutes, so one charge does the house on Eco or Mid, which is what you use for most of it.
Will it really not tangle with long hair or dog hair?
The brush roll is V-shaped with comb teeth that strip hair off the brush as it spins. It is built for exactly this. People with retrievers and long hair in the house say they have never once touched the brush roll. If yours ever wraps in the first 60 days, send it back.
Does it work on thick carpet, or just hard floors?
Rugs and carpet are what Mid and Max are for. The motorized head lifts the pile. Very deep, thick shag can stall any cordless head. We would rather you know that before you buy. Everywhere else it replaces the upright. Most owners have not had the big one out since.
Will it scratch hardwood or LVP?
It is made for hard floors as well as carpet. Owners run it on hardwood, tile and LVP every day. If it ever marks your floor in the first 60 days, send it back for a full refund.
Never heard of Puravo. Why trust it over a Dyson or a Shark?
Fair question. That is why the 60-day trial and the 5-year warranty exist. Use it as your only vacuum for two months. If it lets you down, every cent comes back. If it fails in year four, it is still covered. A Dyson gives you two years.
How big is the dust cup?
1.5 liters, about three times the size of a Dyson V8's. A whole-house run in a two-pet home is one empty. It opens from the bottom with one button over the trash, without your hands going near the dust.
What if it dies after two years, like my last one?
Send us a message and you get it repaired or replaced, free. The 5-year warranty covers the motor, the head and every tool, counted from the day yours arrives. We look up your order, so there is no receipt to find. If the battery drops below 80% of its runtime in the first two years, we send a new one free. You return the old one after the new one arrives. Filters, heads and tools stay in stock for five years. If we ever cannot supply a part, we replace the vacuum.
